Indian Academy School of Management Studies (IASMS) is a center of excellence in Management Education, Research, Training and Consultancy in the Northern Bangalore Area, Bangalore, India. IASMS was established in 2004 by a group of academicians driven with a desire to establish top quality educational institutions. Notably, the recent National workshop on “Management of Micro and Small Enterprises” held between 20th and 21st February, 2009 is a clear testimony.
The school also hosted a One Day PM Primer on Project Management Concepts conducted by Project Management Institute, Bangalore Chapter. The programme, which was organized on 13th February, 2010, received well-known project managers, followed by an MDP on 20th February, 2010 on the theme of HR for the New Economy: Bridging Theory and Practice which received eminent corporate HR Practitioners across the country. As the commitment to the world of knowledge is an enduringly working style of IASMS, the 3rd National Seminar is hence organized but this time, it is on Business Strategies.
 Today management is needed in all types of organizations regardless of their size, at all organizations levels and in all work areas. Because management is universally needed, improving the way an organization is managed is one of the keys to success, and the importance of strategic management to achieve this goal is recognized around the world.
